Issue # 4
September 27th, 2016

Hey lunch buddies.  This past week went by really quick.  Work has been crazy busy and on the home front we celebrated our twin girls 3rd birthday.  The bounce house mentioned last week was a huge hit and fortunately I can report no injuries occured.

This week is turning out to be just as busy as the last.  Several big deliverables in the lineup in addition to a key meeting towards the end of the week.  To be honest, its a welcomed change of pace to take a break and write this newsletter.

Here’s to another productive week.  Enjoy this weeks newsletter!

What You Must Know

What’s important?
After 2+ years, Google is finally rolling out a Penguin update.  This is not a “refresh” but a release that incorporates Penguin signals into Google’s core ranking algorithm.
Nick’s take:
If you’re not already paying attention to your analytics and rankings then now is the time to invest a few extra hours.  While its been reported that this update has been rolling out for a week + prior to Google announcing it – its definitely a big update worth tracking.
