Wow… Things sure have changed in the last month or so. Some of you may have already heard that I was selected as one of the new editors over at Sphinn.com. Sphinn truly is a great site that promotes the best SEO and SEM related materials found on the internet. Danny, Matt, and Michelle truly have turned this into a great resource and i’m happy to be apart of the team. Look for bigger and better things to come from Sphinn in the future.

Next on the list of change is … This will be my last week at DKS Systems. I have chosen to accept a new SEO Consulting position at Thomson Reuters.

I want to first and foremost thank everyone at Minnesota Web Design firm DKS Systems. DKS gave me the opportunity to truly discover the wonders of search engine optimization. Working directly with the developers has helped me understand the work that goes on behind the SEO recommendations.
I think too many SEOs have the problem of making suggestions without knowing the constraints certain existing websites have. I know this experience at DKS has helped me from a technical SEO standpoint. These skills will undoubtedly help me in the future as I continue my career in SEO.

As for for my new position i’ll be working with a crew of talented SEOs optimizing websites in the legal niche. I look forward to working with others who share my passion in SEO and the new learning opportunities that will present themselves.

I have always felt guilty posting on this site as anything that fit the theme of this site could have also been posted on the DKS site. My new position at Thomson will give me more opportunities to write and publish SEO content on this site. Not only am I hoping to update this site more frequently but i’m already looking into some different redesign opportunities. We’ll see, one thing at a time. I have a couple weeks off between jobs (which includes a much anticipated vacation!) so who knows what kind of crazy things will happen!
